This time the FBI again troubled by the incidence of loss of a group of young girls in the area of Virginia under mysterious circumstances, one victim was an FBI agent. The only clue was severed hand buried in snow that found the FBI track down the kidnappers this time.

Selain itu mereka juga dibantu oleh seorang pastor Father Joseph Fitzpatrick Crissman (Billy Connelly) yang mampu melihat hal-hal yang tidak bisa dilihat orang biasa. Pastur ini merupakan mantan pidana (pedophile)


Satu-satunya petunjuk yang berhubungan dengan penculikan ini adalah munculnya sisa-sisa tubuh manusia di saluran sepanjang jalan raya.


Mampukah Mulder dan Scully yang dulunya menjadi andalan FBI dalam menangani kasus X-Files ini? Benarkah ada campur tangan makhluk ruang angkasa dalam kasus misterius ini?
