The film tells the story of humans and vampires is take the setting in the town of Barrow in northernmost U.S. state of Alaska. Each time you enter the winter, Barrow is the area cut off from civilization. For 30 days, the northernmost district in Alaska is undergoing 'routine' routine, which is isolated from their parent country, the United States, due to a snowstorm that hampered transportation and communications.
Not only the snow storm, the city also will experience the long darkness for 30 days. This allows occurs because the velocity of the earth's axis has shifted so many degrees each year resulting in some northern parts of the earth does not get sunlight. After centuries of living in darkness, every morning hiding so as not destroyed by sunlight, a vampire feel to find a new place where they could continue his eternal life without feeling hungry. A handful of the condemned left and still survive on earth is also no longer need to hide even the morning before.
Towards the darkness came, there was the mysterious death of pet dogs and the destruction of a helicopter. But all in vain, the vampires were easily spread terror in this city with no opportunity for residents to save themselves or ask for help from outside. In a lightning raid, vampires were massacred the entire population of the city indiscriminately. From small children to senior citizens.
