In Montgomery County, Kelly Taylor is ready to go to college and takes her autistic brother, Tom, to a specialized institution. However, the bank informs her that she does not have sufficient funds in her account to honor her check. Her stepfather, Johnny Gaveneau, withdrew the money from her account the day before. When Kelly arrives home, Johnny reveals that he used the money to buy a tiger for his 'safari show' project. In addition he has the house reinforced, in order to protect it from hurricanes, so all the windows and external doors are covered with wood. When Kelly awakes, she finds that the starving tiger is inside the house and Tom and she are trapped with the ravenous animal.

Zaki (Zaki Zimah), Joana (Donita), Ipung (Krisna Patra) dan Reni (Pamela Bowie) kontributor untuk sebuah kantor berita online, mencari kisah seram untuk ditulis sebagai berita. Atas saran Joana, mereka mengunjungi rumah kosong yang selama ini dikenal sebagai tempat pembuangan dan penguburan mayat dalam kasus kriminal. Kedatangan Joana, Zaki, dan Reni untuk mendokumentasikan situasi bangunan dengan handycame, disambut oleh penampakan penari jaipong yang cantik. Namun, penari tersebut segera berubah wujud jadi pocong saat mereka memalingkan muka sejenak.
Di rumah tersebut, Joana tanpa sengaja menemukan payung usang dan mengembangkannya. Zaki percaya hal tersebut akan mengundang makhluk-makhluk gaib. Joana bersikukuh tidak mempercayai takhayul tersebut. Namun, semenjak itu Zaki, Joana dan Debby kerap diganggu oleh penampakkan berupa sosok wanita penari jaipong dan pocong. Mereka menjalani hari-hari dengan perasaan was-was. Lebih menyeramkan lagi, Lilis, sang penari jaipong, menghampiri rumah Zaki dan dipersilahkan menginap oleh Ipung. Ipung merasa kasihan karena LIlis kemalaman di jalan. Sementara itu, Zaki yang mengetahui kebenarannya merasa was-was sepanjang malam. Ipung yang tidak tahu malah merasa senang dengan kehadiran Lilis. Bahkan sampai ke kampus, Lilis pun mengikuti Ipung.
